ROLAND NIELSON / OMAHA, NE
I’m Roland. I’ve had to change how I live, how I react, and how I show up for my kids. I share what I’ve learned with people who are tired of repeating the same mess.

I grew up in North Omaha. My mom struggled with meth. My dad wasn’t around. I spent time in juvenile detention, then carried a lot of that chaos into adulthood.
In 2011, I began changing how I lived. There wasn’t one big moment where everything clicked. I kept showing up. I kept my word more often. I learned how to sit with an emotion without letting it run the house.
“Dad came home.
Dad stayed.”
I’m a father of four. Being present with my boys matters more to me than looking like I have everything figured out.
